Trash the Dress...

I love looking for "Trash the Dress" inspiration. I DON'T think it is a MUST to "trash" your gorgeous wedding dress. I think this session gives you a chance to really relax and take some fun photos in neat backgrounds. Unlike during bridal portraits are like your trial run for the wedding so you are being extra careful not to dirty your dress. Also, most people take them in pretty traditional settings like a church, park, venue, etc. This gives you the chance to be FREE & CARELESS! And of course to get all dolled up and an excuse to wear your dress again. Who wouldn't want to do that?

I think I am going to do my TTD on the beach with my husband. I can't wait. I think it will be awesome! Here are some cool inspirations I found on some photographers' blogs. Some our not "officially" TTD sessions, but I think they are great TTD inspirations. Enjoy!

I am still Alive!

It has been over a month since I last blogged. Shame on me! A lot has happened in the past month. I feel personally too much, but hey it's life!

Well one of the major things was my husband was involved in an accident (not his fault). He is fine...thank goodness!! Our poor truck had some major damages to it. The sad thing is we had only had it for less than 2 months then the wreck happen! My husband had to drive a little bitty car for 3 weeks that he could literally lock all the doors from where he was sitting. At least he had something to drive. We got the truck back last week and you don't know how much you miss a truck until it is gone!

Truck the day we got it!

The accident....there are damages to the front, but mostly to the back.

Let see what else happened this month.....the BPMS150. If you are not aware of what it is. It is a 2-day bike ride from Houston to Austin. My husband had been training since January and he finally got to ride for the MS150 the weekend of April 17th. I couldn't be more than proud of him. What a great accomplishment! I had tears in my eyes when he crossed the finish line. The long months of training had paid off. He had done something great! I really admire my husband!

About to cross the finish line in Austin!

Crossing the finish line near the Texas Capitol!

Me and my hubby! I am SUPER proud in this pic!

An update on me day time job at the newspaper is keeping me pretty busy. It will start to slow down in June (thank goodness!). Earlier this month I had gone back to my modeling agency to get back into the modeling thing. Surprisingly I was told I was old, but I look the same as I did 4 years ago (I guess that is good). Still unsure if I am going to go ahead with it since we are trying to start our family. Having a family is more important to me than anything! So we will see what will happen in another month.

I will start posting things on weddings again (DIY, flowers, trends, inspirations, etc.)
