Deco Mesh Fall Wreath...let's get crafty!

I haven't blogged a craft post in sooooo long! Before I had Jett and when he had more naps I was able to do more craft projects and do them fairly quickly. Now a simple craft project takes me weeks or I just forget about the project and just let it just sit there for months. Perfect example Jett's first year scrapbook. I am only on month 4 and he is 20 months right now....I know I am terrible. As we all know Pinterest is like a drug EXTREMELY addicting. I downloaded fonts from www.dafont.com . and played with them in photoshop. ***you can also use the edit photo tool at your pharmacies photo website or microsoft publisher 2. Choose an image from your engagement pictures and size the image for a 4x5.3 in photoshop and set the resolution to 300. 3. I upload the image to the Walgreens site to be printed. Many pharmacies & grocery stores have there websites to do this on. 4. I purchased rolls of adhesive magnet from Hobby Lobby 5. I cut them to smaller strips and peeled the adhesive strips and slap that on the back of the picture. 100-prints: $10 2 rolls of adhesive magnet: $8 Envelopes 100 from Target: $5 Postage: $35 ...

And for a number of reasons... #1 To save money (and yes you can save a lot of money DIYing.) #2 Adding your own personalized touch #3 Pride (there is alot of sense of pride knowing you accomplished such a beautiful craft you created) I was one of these brides. I DIYed most of my things for the wedding. I did my own centerpieces for the reception (1/2 branches, 1/2 fresh jumbo hydrangeas), but not the bouquets. I thought it would be too stressful for me to do the bouquets the day before the wedding. I wanted to leave it to the professional to do that. Don't get me wrong she did a great job, but this is definitely doable to do on your own if you are up to it. I did a bouquet for my bridals after the wedding and honestly I thought I did a better job then my florist did on my bouquet at my wedding. And it was soooo EASY! I went to Hubbell & Hudson located in The Woodlands, TX. They are like a Whole Foo...
